IRSST Fact Sheets - Asthma in the Workplace |
![]()
| It is
important to recognize the potential risks associated with development of
occupational asthma and rhinitis in different work environments in order
to direct occupational hygiene efforts aimed at reducing these risks. The
IRSST has just published a fact sheet presenting these two respiratory diseases
in a general way as well as six other fact sheets that present the risk
factors associated with specific work environments and recommended preventive
and protective strategies for these occupations. These are written in non-technical
language and are appropriate for worker education purposes. |
